ANTHEA
Hello there! I’m Anthea, the founder and head coach here at Thrive.
My passion lies in building genuine connections and supporting women to radiate confidence and strength. I care deeply about creating a space where the gym isn’t just something you do, but a lifestyle you fall in love with.
My fitness journey began at a young age, diving headfirst into the weight loss and fitness craze like many women do. After running myself into the ground and doing everything I could to hold onto an unsustainable level of leanness, I started to realise how important the broader picture of my health truly was. Losing my cycle for two years and navigating extensive body image challenges completely shifted my perspective and sparked a deep interest in women’s health, strength training, and long-term sustainability.
Embracing strength training changed my life and ultimately led me to start coaching over 7 years ago. With a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, over 10 years of lifting experience, and a background in both bodybuilding and powerlifting, my coaching approach has been shaped through years of working with women from all backgrounds, both in person and online.
Over time, I’ve refined a coaching style that prioritises sustainability, mindset, behaviour, and lifestyle, alongside building muscle, improving body composition, and getting strong af.
My aim is to create meaningful, lasting change always!
Ultimately, I want you to fall in love with your training, feel confident in your body, and build a strong, healthy relationship with both the gym and yourself.

ZOE
Hello!!
My name is Zoe, I’m a women’s online and face to face coach with a passion for nutrition, body image and strength training.
My mission is to guide women to step into their most confident and empowered self through a collaborative relationship and holistic coaching approach. I am currently studying to become a dietitian and have a particular interest in sports nutrition and women’s health.
My background as an athlete was pivotal in the development of my coaching approach. Like many women and girls, from a young age I struggled immensely with body image and a strained relationship with food. The journey to recovering a healthy menstrual cycle, regaining necessary weight and shifting my beliefs around body image and nutrition completely changed my life, and I want to help other women to experience this education and freedom.
I believe you can achieve your body composition and strength goals while supporting your relationship with food and body - and that it can be sustainable and balanced.
I am proud to be part of Thrive, as Anthea’s approach aligns seamlessly with my philosophy and coaching style.
